Good appartment, all necessary comfort, good nature, walking distance but not ajacent to tourist center is a plus. The apartment was clean and tidy and communication with Juha was easy. Unfortunately we had a problem with the bathroom door in the evening not being able to opened, however Juha answered our call immediately and directed us to use the sauna bathroom, since it was too late in the night for maintenance to come.
The only thing was, I would say the apartment is a studio rather than one bedroom, as it is one large open room, with a half curtain across part of the room. Small apartment - good to short stay. A bit out of centrum. The host was very friendly, helpful, comunication was very good.
Juha was a kind host and offered to pick us up from the station when we arrived late at night. We had good communication with him prior to the arrival and during our stay. The location is close to the Imatrankoski which is one of the main attractions in Imatra.
It's far from the city centre and the station, but there is public transport close by. The apartment was comfortable to stay for two people, there was a TV and many amenities in the kitchen, although we didn't find a hairdryer we didn't ask Juha for it though. I would stay there again. For the price that I paid, euro per night was not justified for the quality what was on offer and didn't meet my expectations.
It was in need of a clean and a good tidy up. But in saying that Juha was very accommodating and a good host. I am glad that I rented this apartment.
