Contact Admin. I went to Manuela's residence with a few friends and was instantly charmed by it's cosy atmosphere and artistic decor. We sat in the pizza parlor and waited over half an hour for a waiter to acknowledge our presence.
After an overpriced bottle of cheap red wine and a mediocre lasagne we were presented with a bill. We brought out our cards and we're told rudely by the waiter that it was cash only. Surprised by this we asked if there was an ATM nearby and the waitress responded she didn't know. The Italian manager intervened and proceeded to tell us to pay or he will call the police. He reigned a slew of derogatory remarks at us and they asked us to leave.
The worst experience I have ever had I'm Lagos. You can have a fancy restaurant but when you treat you customers like poorly because of the color of their skin, you restaurant becomes ugly. There is a hotel on the premises.
The manager informed us that prostitutes are asked to pay "double price" that way they can manage the numbers. Will never ever go back to such a horrible brothel disguised as an Italian restaurant. I went for dinner to this restautant with 2 friends this evening we are all Nigerian. The decor and artwork was very nice. The food was mediocre at best although I have heard that they have good pizzas, avoid the pasta dishes. However this was the most terrible service I have ever encountered in Nigeria.
It took over 1. This was followed by other staff, not subtlety, calling us the Nigeran word for prostitute. Upon speaking to management an Italian man I was even more disappointed and angry when he told us that prostitutes are welcome to use their facilities, including rooms but would be charged double the usual prices.
