I'd like to start by thanking all the beautiful people who came along to the Fetish Ball last Sat night. Without you, this event wouldn't exist. As fast as the night went for me and how busy I was, I still couldn't help but stop and think just how lucky I am to have such an amazing bunch of people support my event. Some of the stunning outfits worn on the night just blew my mind.
You all were the probably the best crowd the Ball has had in the 20 years it's been running - and that's saying something. The performers were world class, every single one of them. I've had so many compliments on my choice of acts for this year - more than ever before. Everyone who took the stage was a pleasure to deal with leading up to the night, and also on the night. My hat goes off to you all.
The crew that sacrificed actually being there as party goers, in order to make it all happen deserve medals. Not to forget the venue management and staff. You're all amazing. I could probably remember and retell them all but I won't right now. All I can say is that we made it, and I'm thankful to all the people around me that have helped. To say that I'm humbled is an understatement. I've met some very interesting people in my lifetime but some stand out for whatever reason they do.
I'm a people watcher - have been as far back as I can remember. I'm also someone who loves seeing other people having fun and really enjoying helping in some way to make it happen. It's a gamble going into organising and carrying off every Ball - not only financially, but more that it will work for the people that attend. If it didn't, well that would be that wouldn't it?
Financially, some years are better than others, but as I do most of the work leading up to the event from home at night on my computer it's not really work as such, more just a way I can make things easier or better just using thoughts imagination and technology.
