Spent 5 days staying at the kosa Hotel, Checked into the Hotel, easy check in, but found out that there was no Safes in the room, Only had a safety deposit box in the reception. Having checked out the room that we were offered on the 14th Floor, We found out that the wifi was not working, They blamed my laptop, So the service engineer had a look at my laptop in the reception, Changed all my settings and found the Wifi, Only to take the laptop back to my room and found that there was still no wifi, Kept on at the staff and finally on the 3rd day, They sent 2 young office staff to my room and found out that the router was not working, SAo this was replaced and the wifi was working.
The Room was very dated and the mattress felt like it was form. The Hotel had a big issue with mosquitoes which i complained apart, But it seemed to be a issue within the City too. I read on here about the massage place not been good, So i checked it out and it was very sleazy, Lady s with numbers on there tops and i asked to see the room, The rooms was very dirty with a corner bath, toilet, sofa and bed with a mirror on the head board.
The jury is still out if i would stay here again, but least we only paid baht a night. Stayed for 12 nights February Helpful friendly staff, quiet comfortable room, good location, near train station, Central Plaza Shopping Mall, golf courses within easy reach. Good wifi signal in room which was free. The breakfast was mainly Thai food but plenty of Western style to satisfy most people's taste. Stayed with my wife while in town for a wedding.
Was pleasantly surprised at how nice and well run the hotel was. Definitely stay there again. English no problem either. Great little bar next door and great neighborhood. Great value for what you get. But remember when booking that this isn't a 5 star hotel, for sure it would have been five stars in its heyday. Impressive was that where they could make upgrades without requiring the prices to double and treble, they have done so.
Interesting hotel with a brothel adjoining the hotel on the first floor. The rooms in the main hotel are better than those in the annex would rate about a 2. BUT it is all very inexpensive.
